As you may have noticed, not too many votes were cast for this week’s H-O-W. So I will post images for both in this post. I have a nomination for next week’s H-O-W from bex. If you want to nominate an H-O-W, please do so via email [musingsmail at gmail dot com]. I will be accepting nominations for the week of the 27th until Saturday, February 25th. And now, drumroll please, this week’s Hotties: Ziyi Zhang and Barack Obama.
Barack Obama is the newly elected senator for Illinois and has been nominated one of the top ten democrats to watch. He came to my attention for his rousing, and I mean rousing speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Currently, he has no prospects for a run for the White House, and is concentrating his efforts on his home state, but he has proposed the following (which I find terribly exciting):
Senator Obama recently introduced legislation that offers real reform by increasing transparency in government and decreasing the influence of lobbyists in the legislative process. It’s called the Curtailing Lobbyist Effectiveness through Advance Notification, Updates, and Posting Act (CLEAN UP Act)
He’s definitely a political hottie. As far as Ziyi Zhang, she has been nominated by Shane. One of my two regular readers/commenters. I’m going to poke him so that he can give us his two cents on the nomination on this very pretty actress. While we do, you can click here for her filmography and most importantly, click here to find out more about what Shane does.
