Looks like I can actually run! Thanks to all the messages of encouragement on blog and off! I have successfully completed the first two weeks of serious training and have gotten my running to a good start. I can now complete 1.5 mile without wanting to stop and twice, twice have been able to creep to the two mile mark. I have varied what I do at the gym and am looking to add a fifth day of working out. Of course, next weekend is Easter, so, chances are that will be a broken goal.
Also, thanks to Stan and Shane and…Robin(?), I have put together a running playlist on my iPod and want to share it with you all. It’s a little motivational, a little funky and includes songs for the cool down. Feel free to “emulate” (Ludie, that’s for you).
