Enhanced with bullet points!
- Have not yet been approved for apartment. Looks like I’ll be moving at the end of the month. Hopefully.
- Neighbor has not acted up again. I don’t know what to make of that
- I have mixed feelings about the upcoming birthday. I’m usually not a big fan of people making a big fuss. This year especially because…
- …A week after my birthday, to the day, will be Steve’s first anniversary. Though I miss him every day, I can’t believe that a year has passed already
- Speaking of which, I’ve had very significant signs (no, I don’t see dead people); let’s call it I’ve been feeling his energy? If anyone has any thoughts about that, feel free to comment. Tread carefully though
In happier notes:
- I’ve been reconnecting with friends from elementary school via Facebook. I think it’s a fascinating thing and probably one of the coolest features of the internet
- I can’t believe I missed Eddie Izzard’s performances in NYC. By the time I saw the news, the tickets were sold out. Even the extended performances.
- I’ve set up a blog for my communications course this semester and it seems to be working well with the students. The conversations in class seem to be, so far, deeper and more analytical.
- I’m still laughing at the taping of the couple in Georgia who won the $350 million Powerball jackpot
And last but not least…I was in a school today and when I asked if the students had been visiting the companion website for the project they’re participating in, Anthony, looks at me squarely in the face without blinking and says:
“Ms. B. It’s all about the video games with us!! The games, Ms. B, the V-I-D-E-O games!”
It warms me that there are students who still have a sense of humor.
