It seems the Israeli cabinet has decided that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who suffered a massive stroke in January and subsequently fell into a coma, is “permanently incapacitated.”Sharon’s term as Prime Minister will officially end on April 14, 2006, buuuut “A provision was made that should Sharon’s condition improve between April 11 and April 14 the declaration will not take effect.” Ok, what makes them think that his condition will markedly improve?!?
The National Geographic Society has unveiled the restored Gospel of Judas. It is a gnostic gospel whose text has been restored. It is aPR piece on the figure of Judas Iscariot, who has been known to have betrayed Jesus and consequently was partly responsible for his crucifixion. The recent public revelation of this ancient text provides new insight into the diversity of early Christian beliefs.
