Convertible

I did it again, I went to oneword and toyed with their daily word. It’s somewhat fascinating what comes out of your head, what came out of mine, when you’re forced constrained to 60 seconds. What choices could you possibly make in such a short time? How much can you actually write and have it make sense? All good questions to ponder while you read today’s entry:

They were driving upstate, to find some moss. The weather was seasonably cool, the sky blue. She loved the smell of his car, his strong hand on the gear shift. And then he reached and she thought he was playing with the radio. No, it was a convertible and he had just opened it up.
